Human Services

Every year the Town of Carrboro, the Town of Chapel Hill, and Orange County invite program funding requests from nonprofits who support the delivery of vital community services.  There is one common funding application between the jurisdictions.  If a nonprofit is applying for funding in Carrboro, their application is reviewed by the Carrboro Human Services Advisory Commission.  In fiscal year 2019-20 Carrboro awarded $249,000 to human service providers.

Funding for 2020-2021 will open in late November 2019, please check back for application instructions.
